ABOUT THE COURSE
In an increasingly technical and competitive labor market, the accounting professional has enormous employability and a wide field of work, both in public companies and in private companies. In addition, the Accounting Sciences Course of UNISANTA is among the five best in the State of São Paulo and among the best ten in the country. Even before graduating, our students have achieved 100% approval in the Examination of Proficiency required by the Federal Council of accounting, while the national average of approval is only 35%.
The Accounting Sciences UNISANTA Course reached grade 5, on a scale of 0 to 5, in the Enade (National Examination of Student Performance), assigned by the Ministry of Education to the students. The Enade is a test that evaluates the performance of students of undergraduate courses, in relation to the programmatic content, skills and competences acquired in their training.
In Baixada Santista, among the courses in Accounting Sciences evaluated in 2015 by Ministry of Education, UNISANTA was the only one to receive a maximum grade (5) in CPC - Preliminary Concept of the Course. In this evaluation are considered items such as the faculty, infrastructure and pedagogical practices of the course.
In the UNISANTA Model Accounting Office, students effectively practice the activities of the future profession, using modern integrated management software (ERP-TOTVS), accounting and financial research (Economática) and accounting (CONTMATIC). In addition to exercising day-to-day business, academics apply knowledge and develop scientific research.

The evaluations of the students are based on the skills and abilities necessary for the professional exercise, being defined in the Pedagogical Project of each Course of Graduation or Technology, following the Curricular Guidelines and the General Regiment of UNISANTA.
The evaluation of the school performance is done by discipline, according to the curricular activities developed, covering the aspects of frequency and grade.
It is considered approved in each discipline the student who has attended at least 75% of the academic work expected and obtained arithmetic mean equal to or greater than 5 (five) between the grade resulting from the partial evaluations and the final exam.
The final evaluation is granted only to the student who obtains, in each discipline, arithmetic mean equal to or greater than 3 (three), resulting from the partial evaluations.
The student who, in the course under study, has met the minimum frequency requirement and obtained an average of 7 (seven) or higher as a result of the partial assessments is waived from the final exam.
