ABOUT THE COURSE
Teaching is one of the most important professions in all phases of life, as it depends on good teachers at all levels to train future professionals and ethical and competent citizens. In addition, the basis of all the teaching is a good Early Childhood Education, a Elementary School and a Secondary Education by masters graduated from a respected Pedagogy Faculty.
The UNISANTA Pedagogy Course was included in the Institutional Scholarship Program of Scientific Initiation to the Teaching of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, which is another indication of its quality of teaching. Students can also deepen their knowledge in the University's Pedagogical Research Center.
Since 2014, UNISANTA has joined the PIBID Program – a Federal Program, in partnership with CAPES, to develop research on teaching initiation in municipal public schools.
The toy room, considered a model, is the largest in the region. It has 210 m2, divided into eight environments. The ludic-pedagogical, scientific and cultural area attends, through agreements, assistance entities and other interested parties.
It also has computer labs for the practice of Educational Technologies and Laboratory of Art for playful disciplines (Art-Education).
